Nottingham Trent Universit, Vice-Chancellor’s PhD Studentships
NTU is engaged in influential research across a wide range of subject areas, placing us at the leading edge in fields of enquiry which meet the needs of society, enrich quality of life and have a positive economic impact.
The university is inviting applications for twelve fully-funded PhD studentships commencing in October 2010, in the following fields:
- Art & Design and the Built Environment: Fashion; Technical Textiles; Property Management and Development
- Art, Humanities and Education: Applications in all relevant subject areas are welcome.
- Business, Law and Social Sciences: Management and Business Studies; Law; Economics; Criminology; Politics; Public Health; Public Management; Psychology; Sociology; Social Policy; Social Work.
- Science: Animal Health and Welfare; Cancer Therapy/Diagnosis; Complex Fluids; Computing; Drug Delivery; Environmental Science; Liquid Origami; Materials; Microbial Pathogenesis; Nanophysics; Sport/Health.
The studentships will pay UK/EU fees and provide a maintenance stipend linked to the RCUK rate (currently £13,290 per annum) for up to three years.
