The University of Manchester - Faculty of Humanities

Deadline for application: 15 March 2010

The project

Applications for the 2010/11 competition of AHRC studentships are now welcome.

The University of Manchester has recently been successful in securing £7.2 million of funding for AHRC postgraduate awards in the arts and humanities subject areas.  Details of all the subject areas covered by the scheme can be found on the following link - Subject areas eligible to receive AHRC funding for 2010/11.

The AHRC has graded Manchester as 'Excellent' in terms of its supervision and training provision for postgraduates.  This is in recognition of Manchester's excellent track record in postgraduate teaching, training and research and will enable us to continue to recruit the highest quality postgraduate candidates within our arts and humanities subjects.
